The Honda 15412-MGS-D21 is the original oil filter element that Honda also refers to as a secondary oil filter – on the X-ADV this belongs to the DCT system (Dual Clutch Transmission). The element prevents fine dirt particles from entering the oil passages and DCT components, so that the gear shifts feel smooth and the oil channels remain clean. Choose for an exact fit and the flow that Honda is designed for.
When to bet?
Replace this element during your regular oil service or according to the service manual every 24,000 kilometers, especially if you frequently drive in the city or on dusty roads. Install it cleanly, paying attention to the installation direction (the filter is marked OUTSIDE), and use fresh fluid according to the specifications for your year of manufacture. Also use a new gasket/O-ring when replacing the filter; you'll need this part number: 91302PA9003.
